Rupees hundred thousand for champion slicer
View(s):To commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Carrom Federation the 50th National Carrom Championship took off in a grand scale at the Carrom Federation Headquarters, Kohuwala on January 27 and will conclude on February 25.
Conducted in six categories in Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Veterans over three hundred and fifty slicers representing all districts of the island will battle for supremacy.
For the first time in the history of the game a handsome package of Rs. One Hundred Thousand is at stake for the Men’s and Women’s players winning the Championship in addition to the glittering championship trophies.
The award presentation will be held at the Headquarters, Kohuwala on February 25 in the presence of special invitees.
