SSC outclass SLPA CC by innings
Silva among the runs again for SSC; Vandersay and Shanaka bag 6 wickets each
SSC outclassed SLPA CC with nearly two days to spare by an innings and 82 runs in the Premier Super Eight inter-club cricket encounter concluded at P. Sara Stadium yesterday.
Chilaw Marians look set for an early kill against Saracens SC at the SSC ground as they had Saracens SC back to walls and struggling on 92 for 5 having set a massive victory target of 425 runs for them.
BRC and Ragama CC put themselves in a spot of bother in their matches against Colts CC and NCC at the FTZ ground in Katunayake and Colts ground.
BRC having dominated for most part of the match failed in their second innings as they were skittled out for a low 122 runs and are on the verge of losing outright as Colts CC after being set a modest target was in a strong position of 106 for 2.
Ragama CC too has almost undergone the same fate after having dominated and being set with a target of just 126 runs for victory was in a bad position of 45 for 4.
