Lyceumers third battle on Feb 17
The 3rd annual Battle of the Lyceumers between Lyceum International Schools, Nugegoda and Panadura for the Nikitha Grero Challenge Trophy will be played on February 17 at the P. Saravanamuttu Cricket Stadium, Colombo.
Last year the lads from Nugegoda became the proud owners of the glittering Trophy with a massive 149 run win. Lyceum Nugegoda amassed a huge 288 in 50 overs and dismissed the Panadura school for 135 scored in 45 overs.
Under the captaincy of Pasindu Rajapaksa Nugegoda Lyceum International school take the field while Sithira Thennakoon leads the Panadura School. As both teams have performed creditably well in this season a close battle can be expected.
Ceylon Agro Industries Prima Group will be the main sponsor.
