“Guththila Kaawya’’ made to theatre
View(s):The theatrical presentation of ‘Guththila Kaawya’, based on the Ven. Wattawe Thera’s wellknown, piece of literature directed by award winning playwright Akila Sapumal as a stage play will go on the boards at 8.15 a.m and 10.45 am on February 23 at the Sudâsuna auditorium in Chilaw
Veteran artistes such as Chadrasoma Binduhewa, Prasannajith Abeysuriya, Jayanath Bandara, Thilanka Gamage, Dinupa Kodagoda, Thilan Warnajith, Susantha Kahandawalaarachchi, Tony Kevitiyagala, Iresha Jeewanthi, Priyantha Kumari, Asiri Edirisinghe and lmaya Sewwandika perform in the play.
Music direction is by Dilshan Umayanga, Dasun Theikshana has designed the stage settings and Prasannajith Abeysooriya and Iresha Janakal jointly handle costume designing of ‘Guththila Kaavya’.
Managed by Saman Chaminda, Jude Srimal is the producer and the organiser of the play.
