‘Since there are no hotels or banquet facilities in the area, my friend Nihal and I were ready to grab the opportunity to start our dream project with an investor’ said joint Managing Director Kumara Pathirana.
‘The Hotel is dedicated to small groups of families, who want to spend their outing together leaving the hustle and bustle of the city. And we encourage honeymooners too to visit the most attractive place in the village. This would be a real hideout for them’ said MD Pathirana.
Grand Umaya additionally provides a plethora of options for private party planners, from its large, banquet hall. Almost 275 to 300 pax can be accommodated the Banquet Hall.
‘Apart from the modern setting, the banquet hall is outfitted with a 16 different colour lighting system’ Kumara said.
Guests can sample delicious fruit juices and fresh salads at functions, or enjoy a meal made of garden-fresh, home-grown vegetables from the authentic farms in the village.
