Microsoft executive to speak at event to mark International Women’s Day
View(s):The Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce is commemorating International Women’s Day 2018 on Thursday, 15th March 2018 at Hotel Galadari from 3.30pm to 7pm. with the world theme ‘Press for Progress’.
The Guest Speaker at this event will be Ms Michelle Simmons, General Manager – South East Asia New Markets, Microsoft Asia Pacific. She will deliver her speech on ‘Press for Progress with Digital Transformation in work place’.
Ms Simmons leads Microsoft’s business across 9 countries that make up some of Asia Pacific’s fastest growing markets (Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal and Sri Lanka). Before Microsoft she held several sales and sales management positions at ASAP Software and Frontier Communications.
Ms. Simmons holds an MBA from Xavier University and bachelor degrees in Marketing and French from Miami University. She enjoys running and has completed seven marathons, including one in Antarctica.
