‘Tonners’ Sathiska Saranga (MAS), Heshan Lakshitha (Hirdaramani) weekend stars
Century makers, Sathiska Saranga (MAS Silueta ‘B’) and Heshan Lakshitha (Hirdaramani Group) shared the spotlight in the ongoing16th David Pieris Group of Companies sponsored ‘DPGC’ Challenge Trophy – MCA ‘E’ Division 25-Over League Tournament 2018, continued last weekend.
Sathiska Saranga hit a hurricane 121-runs in 63 balls with 6 sixes and 16 fours, to enable MAS Silueta ‘B’ record a convincing 57-run win over Prym Intimates.
Hashan Lakshitha made 112 in 69 balls with 3 sixes and 18 fours, as Hirdaramani Group romped to a 97-runs win over Assetline Leasing. Other top performers during the weekend were N. Anjoon (Ceylon Tobacco)- 73 vs Prym Intimates, Janidu Mudalige (Astron Lanka)- 83 vs Regnis Lanka, Mahesh Francis (Astron Lanka)- 76 vs Regnis Lanka, and Shanon Patterson (HSBC ‘A’)- 93 vs Trellerborg Lanka.
The highest team total was by Astron Lanka- 249/8 vs Regnis Lanka, while the lowest team total was by Emerchemie NB- 80 in 18.5 overs vs LOLC.
