Dharmaraja, Vidyartha share major honours
Dharmaraja College and Vidyartha College bagged major honours at the Kandy district schools -V.T. Rajan Memorial hockey sixes for boys (U/14,16,18 and 20) concluded at the V.T. Rajan play ground Mahaiyawa in Kandy.
Dharmaraja stickers lifted both U/14 and 20 hockey titles defeating Kingswood College in the two respective finals while Vidyartha annexed the U/16 and 18 titles by outplaying Dharmaraja College in the two finals.
Dharmaraja had the honour of qualifying for the finals of all the four age groups. A total of 28 boys teams representing Trinity, Dharmaraja, St. Sylvester’s, Vidyartha , St. Anthony’s , Sri Sumangala and Kingswood participated in this two day tournament organised and conducted by Kandy Municipal council play ground section for the V.T. Rajan trophy.
