Malith and Nipuna bag 2 Titles each
U-19 Doubles champions Malith Senanayake and Chamud Samaraweera and U-13 Singles champion Udith Senanayake with their coach Harsha Chandrasiri.
Malith Senanayake and Nipuna Nuwan bagged major honours at the 7th Mahaweli Reach Junior Tennis Championship 2018 concluded at the Mahaweli Reach Tennis courts in Kandy.
Malith and Nipuna stole the show by winning a Doubles title each.
Nipuna Nuwan won the Under (U)-15 and U-17 Singles. He beat Shamil 7-2 in the U-15 final and then went on to outplay Malith Senanayake 9-6 in the U-17 final.
Malith Senanayake won the U-19 Singles and Double events. He beat Jonathan Thomas 9-2 in the U-19 Singles final and then paired with Chamud Samaraweera outplayed Jonathan and Dinuja 9-1 in the Doubles.
Udith Senanayake (brother of Malith) won the boys U-13 Singles overcoming Minal De Silva 6-1 in the final.
