Oswin remembered
View(s):Kandy Sports Club lost a good administrator with the recent demise of Oswin Silva, who was its secretary during the 1970s.
He was largely responsible for the amalgamation of the two rival clubs – the Kandy Sports Club and the Kandy Rugby Football Club. At a recent meeting of the club, presided by the senior vice president Leslie de Zoysa, members extolled his virtues and cherished his services.
