Affordable vacation at Panorama Resort, Kandy
View(s):I had dreamt about a vacation when I was stuck in traffic during my evening commute and working overtime at the office. I dreamt about leaving the intense city which is full of concrete buildings and spending some quality time in a place with unique scenery and stunning natural landscape. After days of searching through all travel websites, I finally found the best place — Kandy Panorama Resort. I picked a day in my calendar, packed and left, looking for the geographical and natural cure from stressful schedules in the city.
Kandy, the area which could not be then seized by the British, is protected by many mountains and they are incredible. The Kandy Panorama Resort is so special that it provides the most beautiful scenery with a 180° view of Kandy city and Mahaweli River. You might feel that you don’t need anything in your life other than being able to spend the night with a cocktail and some grapes in your hand, staring at that view which is full of night lights in Kandy city and waking up to the view in the morning with the sun rise and birds singing and flying all over. Don’t forget to bring some movies and books too.
When it comes to food, we all have our own choices. They provided me with many selections for lunch and dinner including Chinese Special, Italian Special, Taste of Paradise, Sri Lankan Special, Grilled Chicken Special and Grilled Fish Special. Food was simple, filling and amazingly delicious. Another reason, which prompted me to write a review, was the friendly manner in which the Kandy Panorama Resort staff treated me.
If you are on a budget, I would say this is the best place. The magnificent view, delicious food, clean and comfortable accommodation and friendly service are way too affordable if you once check the rates of the resort. I felt glad and fortunate that I found the place and decided to spend my vacation. I would recommend the Kandy Panorama Resort for you if you are looking for a place in Kandy to relax and spend a calm vacation.
