Swimming legends for a ‘Legends Relay Carnival’
Swimming fans are in for an unforgettable experience with Milo’s 25th anniversary of sponsoring Sri Lanka’s topmost schools aquatic competition, the All-Island Schools Swimming Championship. A total of 16 swimming legends, which have represented Sri Lanka at international level, will compete head-to-head in a Legends Relay Carnival, in honour of this special occasion.
The event, jointly organised by the Sri Lanka Schools Aquatic Sports Association, the Ministry of Education and Milo, is said to be the first of its kind in school swimming history.
These swimming legends will be competing in four teams – Milo Whales, Milo Seals, Milo Dolphins and Milo Sharks today (June 10), on the final day of Sri Lanka Schools Swimming and Diving Championship prior to the awards ceremony at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo.
