June exams’ candidates can sit sans admission forms: Exams Dept.
View(s):Despite the ongoing Postal strike, government exams to be conducted by the Exams Dept this month will be held, with applicants permitted to sit without Admission forms usually received by Registered Post, the Exams Dept said. However, applicants without Admission forms are requested to contact and inform the Exams Dept on 0112 785 230 / 0112 177 075 or fax on 0112 784 232.
Exams Dept Commissioner Sanath Pujitha said the Dept will send an ‘SMS’ to given mobile phones of applicants, stating the exam date and venue. Payment facilities available at Post Offices will also be available at Divisional Secretariats.
Examinations to which Admission forms have been sent via post are for Management Trainees for the Central Bank on June 17, Open exam to recruit Technical Officers, Farm Managers, Project Officers for the Export Agriculture Dept on June 20 and 21, Open exam for Assistant Research Officer to the Sri Lanka Parliament on June 23, Pracheena Bashopakaraya Society, Preliminary, Intermediate and Final exams on June 23 and 24, Open exam for Probation Officers for the Dept of Probation and Child Protection Services on June 24 and exam for Trainee Assistant Security Officer for the Central Bank on June 19. - NF
