Musaeus and Army to the fore
Musaeus College dominated the waters when they led the Team Rankings in the Girls category at the National Intermediate Age Group Swimming Championship 2018 concluded at the Sugathadasa Swimming Complex yesterday.
Sri Lanka Army upset the high ranking swimmers of St. Joseph’s College as they led the highest Team Ranking in the Boys section.
Musaeus College with 253 points led in the girls events closely followed by another powerhouse in schools swimming, Visakha Vidyalaya, with 248 points. The story in the Boys events were completely different from the girls as the Sri Lanka Army swimmers swept the board with a massive 195 points over the better fancied Joes.
Ninety three teams with a total number of 628 athletes both girls and boys competed in this annual swim event and was worked off in 146 events.
