Police college to get building facilities to train more policemen
View(s):The Police training school will receive additional building facilities to train more policemen, officials said.
The cabinet approved the construction of a modern four-storied building for the Administration of Police Training School, Kalutara.
The training school, which is spread over 209 acres, has facilities to train more than 1,000 officers, from Police Constables to Assistant Superintendents of Police, at a time.
The proposal was presented by Minister of Public Administration & Management and Law & Order, Ranjith Madduma Bandara, to facilitate the administrative process of these training programmes by providing modern facilities.
