Night clubs in Sri Lanka are set to take a new turn with the launch of Ce La Vi opening at The Kingsbury for which an estimated cost of Rs.160 million had been incurred as investment.

“We wanted to bring the brands into Sri Lanka and the expertise in terms of night clubs so that we are one step ahead,” The Kingsbury Marketing and Sales Director Denesh Silva told the Business Times.

He noted that this would enable Sri Lanka to showcase the destination as an entertainment hub as well and bringing in the brands would definitely enhance the presence of entertainment in the country.

Asked the reason for bringing down a brand in night clubs to operate here, he pointed out that this would ensure that travellers with experience of the brand would be able to identify with it. Thereby The Kingsbury would be able to receive that credibility boost in terms of entertainment, Mr. Silva said.

He also explained that they have brought down two chefs to operate the new place as well as sending their own chefs to Hong Kong for training.

At present the newly launched night club is set to become only part of The Kingsbury and would not be made available at the other hotels in the network of the Amaya chain.
