“Do it yourself” Principal leads from the front
View(s):Contrary to other schools which rely on contractors to attend to repairs of buildings and furniture, the Principal of Thabbowa MV, Karuwalagaswewa, Lakmal Ranasinghe has taken the initiative to carry out their own repairs.
The Principal, who heads the campaign, got parents, teachers and students involved in the work, when they recently carried out repairs of the schhol roof and also laid concrete in the school. The Principal said they were prepared for any work from masonry to carpentry, and that, all worked unitedly.
