BPOS Global Oman brings Blockchain from West Asia to South East Asia
View(s):MUSCAT, Oman — BPOS Global, fresh off its successful Blockchain Oman 2018 is taking the powerful keynote and master class format to Sri Lanka for Blockchain Sri Lanka 2018. That packed event was the first Blockchain conference in Oman enhancing awareness of Blockchain technology in the country — and BPOS Global is now holdings its first-ever such event in Colombo.
Following the incorporation of a new sister company in Sri Lanka, BPOS Global Sri Lanka is organizing Blockchain Sri Lanka 2018 on September 25-26th at the Cinnamon Grand Colombo.
The keynote address will be delivered by Prof. Rohan Samarajiva, Chairman of the Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) of Sri Lanka, the company said in a media release.
Day one will commence with a keynote address and a presentation, “The Vision for Distributed Ledger Technologies in Sri Lanka” by Nick Spanos, CEO of New York-based Blockchain Technologies Corp.
“As one of the earliest pioneers in the Blockchain space, Sri Lanka is one of the fertile grounds for the revolutionary technology,” said Mr. Spanos, also founder of Bitcoin Center NYC, the world’s first-ever live cryptocurrency trading floor.
Day two will feature four plenary ssessions and panel discussions, with an array of international speakers from New York, Ireland, Nigeria, Australia, India, Malaysia and Singapore together with four Sri Lankan speakers.
