Late Bishop Edmund Pieris 29th death anniversary commemorated
View(s):The 29th Death anniversary of Rt Rev Edmund Pieris, the first Sinhala Bishop of Chilaw, was commemorated recently by students of Radaguru Edmund Peiris College, Chilaw. Students paid their respects by laying floral wreaths at the base of the late Bishop’s statue in Chilaw town, with Fr Dilan Marious Fernando of the Chilaw Diocese in attendance.
