Nuskey, Raihan, Deedath and Inshakk steal the limelight
View(s):Hill Country International School Under-17 shuttlers R.M.M. Nuskey and M.R.M. Raihan and Under-13 Doubles pair M.K.M. Deedath and I.M. Inshak stole the limelight at the 29th Central Province Novices Badminton Tournament organised by YMCA, Kandy recently.
The Under-17 Doubles pair Nusky and Raihan clinched the gold medal while Deedath and Inshak grabbed the gold medal in the Under-13 Doubles event. Apart from the two gold medals won in the doubles events three silver medals along with five bronze medals were won by the Hill Country International’s young shuttlers.
Silver medals were won in the Under-11 Singles event and in the Under-11 Doubles events.
Bronze medals were won in the Under-11 Singles, Under-11 Doubles and in the Under-15 Doubles events.
