Sabaragamuwa Province Rugby Development Programme a great success
View(s):Over 130 schoolchildren participated in the Sabaragamuwa Province Schools Rugby Development Programme 2018 held at the Kelani Valley Rugby ground in Thalduwa. The one-day programme was held on Tuesday where over 130 young girls and boys keenly took on to the game of rugby, conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association (SLSRFA).
The programme was conducted by a group of experts appointed by the SLSRFA in collaboration with the Dehiowita Educational Zone office. K.S.P. Karunaratne (Treasurer of SLSRFA), Dinesh Gamage (Kingswood College Rugby Coach), Yuri (Central Province Rugby Coach) and L.S.L.K. Madushika (Director Sports – Dehiowita Educational Zone) contributed to the programme.
