‘Dance on with The Gypsies’
View(s):‘Dance on with The Gypsies’, a sing, song and a dance night will come alive at the Cinnamon Lakeside, Colombo on Friday, October 12th starting at 7.00pm.
Presented by Black Pepper Entertainment, ‘Dance on with The Gypsies’ show will feature one of the all-time greatest Sri Lankan entertainers, the legendary Sunil Perera accompanied by the Gypsies performing their greatest hits from seventies to present.
The show will guarantee an exciting dance music flow beginning to the end and to be a night not to be missed to experience the real fun of the night’ said Romesh Jayasinghe, the Manager of the Black Pepper Entertainment.
The Gypsies performing at ‘Dance on with The Gypsies’ on Friday, October 12th 2018 at the Young or old, the audience will soon be dancing the night away to a collection of musical hits in English and Sinhala taken from the five decade long musical career of this fantastic band and will include the music lovers’ favourites ‘Lunu Dehi, ‘None mage sudu none’, ‘Gange paninawa’, ‘Pem Lowe’, ‘Thattaya’ ‘Oye Ojaya’, ‘Signore’, ‘Piti Kotapan None’, I don’t know Why’, ‘Lankawe’, ‘Koththamalli’ and their latest ‘Buongiorno’ and many more.
‘While there will be plenty of retro tunes to have guests really shaking up the dance floor, a ballroom session cannot be missed and there will be some beautiful, classic numbers bring out those rumba, swing, waltz and cha-cha dance moves’ Romesh said.
Along with the mesmerising entertainment lined up for the evening, guests will also enjoy a full buffet dinner comprising of a carefully curated menu to suit a range of dietary requirements. There will also be a Raffle Draw with some great prizes from imported alcohol, gift vouchers and dinner vouchers to luxury weekend getaways too up for grabs.
The master of ceremonies will be Sharon Mascarenhas, while a few guest artistes to be featured at the show.
Sunil is the only musician in the local music industry to have run a band single handed for more than five decades and is not just a vocalist, but a talented guitarist, songwriter and composer. His mind blowing music career has grown from strength to strength since he first started performing in the 1970s and his unique music style has mesmerised fans not just in Sri Lanka, but all over the world.
His larger than life presence with his passion for entertaining and giving the best of his vocal chords each and every time means his audience just can’t get enough of his crazy mad (in a good way) performances and any event that he performs at is usually sold out.
