Mercantile Basketball League tournament from Sep.10 to October 19
The 28th Mercantile Services Basketball Association League tournament 2018 will be played from September 10 to October 19 at Sir Edward Henry Pedris Stadium, Colombo 5 and Sky Rim Areana-St. Joseph’s College, Colombo 10.
A total number of fifty two teams, both men and women-the largest in the history of MBA and a total of 123 matches will take place at both venues in this year’s edition. Like in the previous year the award for Most Valuable Player of the tournament will be dedicated to late Ranil Ganewatte. The championship will be conducted in Divisions A, B, C, D and E for men and and it will be conducted in two Division A and B for women.
