Hike in school uniform vouchers’ values next year- MoE
View(s):The Ministry of Education (MoE) said last week the value of school uniform vouchers will be increased for next year.
MoE Spokesman said the current market prices of uniform material is being compared, to decide on the prices soon, and the vouchers to be printed and distributed early December 2018.
Last year school uniform vouchers were issued at Rs 550, Rs 800, Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,350 for students in different grades.
Around 4.2 million schoolchildren in over 10,000 public schools, will benefit from this project. – CC
