5th Installation of Toastmasters Club

TM4 - Members - SJMS Toastmasters Club Members
Being a part of such a prestigious organization since 2013, the 5th Club Officers Installation Ceremony of the SJMS Toastmasters Club was held recently at the Deloitte Sri Lanka office premises located at Colombo 04. The ceremony was flanked by SJMS Toastmasters club members along with special guests and other dignitaries.
DTM Zameen M. Saleem, who is the Pathways Chief Ambassador for District 82, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest for the event. He had also served as a District Governor of Toastmasters International District 82 between 2011 and 2012. Division E Director, TM Dilrukshi Rajapakse was the guest of honour for the day.
This ceremony marked the induction of six new members by the Division E Director as well as the installation of the executive committee for the upcoming year 2018/19, by the Area Director, TM Loshinie Pirathapan.
The installation ceremony saw outgoing president TM Muzawwir Manzeer being succeeded by the incoming president TM Jolini Jesurasan who took over the reins from the outgoing president.
During his tenure the Club achieved the Select Distinguished Club Status. The club had also previously achieved the Distinguished Club Status for the past 5 years.
Commenting on the culmination of his term, TM Muzawwir Manzeer stated that he was grateful for the time and experience he had over the past year and wished the incoming committee the very best.
The incoming president TM Jolini Jesurasan promised that with the support of her talented and hard-working executive committee, the club will endeavour to break all barriers and build a pathway that ensures all members achieve excellence in their Toastmasters journey.
