First major global digital health event
View(s):The Digital Health Week 2018 will be held in Colombo from October 7 to 12, bringing together healthcare professionals, government officials, intergovernmental agencies, international development partners, university academics, students and healthcare and IT industry professionals.
This is the first major global digital health event following the adoption of the World Health Assembly Resolution on Digital Health in May 2018 in Geneva.
The week will feature six conferences, the Commonwealth Digital Health Awards and the Commonwealth Digital Health Expo. The conferences are:
October 7 – 9: Conference on Interoperable Digital Health for Universal Health Coverage and 6th General Assembly of the Asia eHealth Information Network (AeHIN).
October 8 & 9: Board Meeting and General Assembly of the International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA). [Registration by invitation only].
October 9 – 11: The 10th Biennial Conference of the Asia Pacific Association for Medical Informatics (APAMI 2018) and Global Telehealth 2018 (GT2018).
October 12: The 3rd Commonwealth Digital Health Conference (CWDHC) and Digital Health Sri Lanka 2018.
