Rural School’s Music Room, Instruments damaged by gale
View(s):The Music Room of Navodya Vidyalaya in Aandigama, Anamaduwa, was badly damaged by the recent gale force winds that caused havoc in several areas in the Puttalam district. Water seepage into the room damaged the musical instruments. The school’s Music Teacher Priyanthi Amarasinghe lamenting the damage caused to the equipment, said it was with contributions from parents and teachers that all this was purchased, and it was distressing to see the damage.
