Nimantha Perera of Unilever Sri Lanka (Unilever) and Harsha Rajapaksa of Singer Sri Lanka (Singer) were the weekend stars as the first centurions in the ongoing 2nd ‘Fair & Lovely Men’ Trophy – MCA ‘B’ Division 50-Over League Tournament 2019, continued last week. Nimantha Perera’s dogged 111 runs in 163 balls, with 6 sixes and 8 fours, went abegging, as Unilever lost to John Keells Holdings (JKH) ‘B’ by a huge margin of 108 runs.
Harsha Rajapaksa hit a swashbuckling 112 runs in 65 balls, with 8 sixes and 6 fours, propelled Singer to a nail-biting 1 wicket, last ball win over Unilever.
