Spice Girls announce reunion concert
The Spice Girls announced a reunion Viva 4 Ever reunion concert series on 5th November. After few false starts, four members of the original group Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Me B will do a six date tour across the UK between 1st and 15th June. Victoria Beckham is keeping out of the reunion tour to concentrate on her fashion label according to reports, but she extended her best wishes to the group. Reports suggest each member of the Spice Girls will get around £10 million for the tour and possible spin off projects.
Ariana Grande releases latest single ‘Thank U’
Pop singer Ariana Grande who just released a new single ‘Thank U’ credits therapy with saving her life as she took to social media on 5th November to make the revelation. The singer had to deal with many personal setbacks recently, losing her former boyfriend in drug overdose death, splitting up from her most recent boyfriend Pete Davidson last month and being diagnosed with post – traumatic stress disorder after the bomb attack outside her concert in Manchester, UK last year.
Tribute concert for George Michael
A tribute concert for the late George Michael is to be held next year. The concert called Cowboys & Angels: Celebrating the Life & Music of George Michael will take place on 25th June 2019, at the O2 Academy, Brixton, London, on what would have been the late singer’s 56th birthday. The concert has the support of Michael’s family and is expected to benefit the Childline charity. As tickets for the concert went on sale on 2nd November, the organisers were working on the line up of artists who were expected to perform.
George Michael’s original band including Shirley Lewis, the back singer will perform. There was no formal tributes for Michael who died on 25th December 2016 aged 53.
Adele named richest pop star
Adele was named the richest pop star aged 30 or under in the UK by the Heat magazine. The ‘Hello’ hitmaker earned over £15 million in the last 12 months without touring. The 30 year old singer’s wealth is now said to be estimated at £147. 5 million.

Lady gaga and Bradley Copper hold out with ‘Shallows’ for a second week
Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s duet ‘Shallows’ from the original soundtrack of the film A Star Is Born, is top of the UK singles chart for a second week. The song faced a challenge from the Little Mix single ‘Woman Like Me’ which bounced back from a downward trend to reach the No: 2 spot. This was largely following a live performance of the song on X Factor on 28th October.
Meanwhile Lady Gaga scored her first UK No: 1 in 2008 with ‘Just Dance’ featuring Colby O’Doris. Her other three UK chart topping songs were ‘Poker Face’ 2008, ‘Bad Romance’ 2009 and ‘Telephone’ featuring Beyonce in 2010.
