President is like Hanuman setting the country on fire: JVP leader
JVP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayaka said yesterday that President Maithripala Sirisena has become like Hanuman going around setting the whole country on fire and vowed to fight the President’s unconstitutional actions.

“President Sirisena has violated the Constitution with impunity. He is like Hanuman going around setting the country on fire. We have to fight his illegal actions and will challenge him in the Supreme Court,” the JVP Leader told reporters at a news conference.
The JVP leader said that the President had made a mockery of the Constitution by his actions since October 26. “He made ministerial appointments in ten separate rounds. He has taken over ministries that he is not entitled to hold. All this is not because of his love for the country or the people but to safeguard himself,” Mr.Dissanayake charged.
The JVP leader said his Party was ready to face an election at any time but the dissolution of parliament must be done in a legitimate manner.
He appealed to the people of the country to join them to fight the illegitimate actions of the President.
