Political comedy goes around the country
Ravindra Ariyarathne’s popular play “Balloth Ekka Baa – 2” will tour around the country with a series of shows.
It will be staged at 3.30 p.m, and 6.30 pm on Nov. 21 at the SLAF camp in Ekala and at Ave Maria Convent Auditorium in Negombo on Nov. 22.
The play will also be staged at Giriulla Town Hall on Nov. 24 and at Dharmaraja College, auditorium in Kandy on Nov. 25.
The play stars Gihan Fernando, Kumara Thirimadura, Chamila Pieris, Sarath Karunarathne, Chinthaka Pieris and Susanga Kahandawala Arachchi in performance.
Anthoney Surendra handles music and and Llwellyn Vanderwall designs stage back ground while stage management is directed by Sumedha Prasanna. Costume designer is Gihan Fernando and makeup is by Wasantha Vittachchi.
Balloth ekka baa 2 is produced and presented by Jude Srimal.
