Dulaj Bandara was unfortunate to miss out on a ton by two runs but his knock of 98 helped his side end with a challenging score of 255 against Zahira at Maradana, yesterday.
Dulaj’s knock comprised 14 boundaries and he was associated in a 97 runs for the third wicket with Isuru Dayananda which was supported by another valuable 79 runs for the ninth wicket between Virajitha Ehelapola and Yasitha Samararatne.
Zahira in their turn ended the day on 59 for 0. The match will be continued today.
