Lecture on ‘Kitchen Chemistry – Fruits and Herbs for Immunity’
View(s):The Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, High Commission of India, Colombo in association with AAYUSH, Sri Lanka and Astanka Yoga Mandir will present a lecture on ‘Kitchen Chemistry – Fruits and Herbs for Immunity’ on Saturday, December 15 from 9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. at the SVCC auditorium, 16/2, Gregory’s Road, Colombo 7.
Dr Vivian Sathiyaseelan, Head of the Department, Unit of Siddha Medicine, University of Jaffna will speak on the day-to-day impact of the use of herbs, spices and vegetables on wellness according to the Siddha medical system.

There will also be a Food Fun Fiesta on the lawns of the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre on that day from 10 a.m. -1 p.m. with mouthwatering Indian cuisine from different states prepared by students and teachers of the Cultural Centre. Indian handicrafts, Mehndi, kurtas, sarees, and jewellery will also be showcased. Entrance is free.
