Muslim Ladies College Bambalapitiya keen participants at Sports Meet
View(s):Students of the Primary Section of Muslim Ladies College Bambalapitiya keenly participated in their annual Sports Meet, which was held at Cooray Park in Wellawatte. Students presented various events including a colourful drill display, fancy dress parade and a march past.
The event was conducted with the intention of giving the youngsters of Muslim Ladies College a glimpse of experience on extracurricular activities. It was held under the patronage of Principal Nasriya Munas while Head of the Primary Section, Chandrika Boteju, Primary Staff, students and parents were keenly and actively involved in making the event a success.
State Minister of National Unity, Co-Existence and Muslim Religious Affairs, A.H.M. Fowzie graced the occasion as chief guest and former National Netball Coach, Somitha de Alwis was the guest of honour.
