‘Gnanaratnana Ladaru Guru Sewana’ titled as the “Most productive preschool”

‘Gnanaratnana Ladaru Guru Sewana’ was awarded as the ‘Most productive preschool’ by Chief Minister of Southern Province, Mr. Shan Wijayalal de Silva. They claimed this title at ‘Dakshina Sigithi Abiman- 2018’ ceremony.
The programmes conducted by Mrs.Gunandhika Shriyani, the Head of ‘Gnanaratnana Ladaru Guru Sewana’ are aimed to develop a love of learning in the children that will last their entire lives. Being naturally curious and talented, a growth of a young child’s mind has to nurtured in the best possible way, supporting each child according to their individual strengths and interests and this is one of the main concerns of this preschool. They guide and facilitate the learning process through activities that stimulate the child’s curiosity.
Having an experience of 29 years, this preschool excels in providing the children with programmes to enhance the child’s self esteem. They understand that every child is a unique individual with their own way of exploring and learning where the teachers nurture the curiosities in the young minds by engaging them in meaningful work and play.
