Please help 4-year-old Tasheena to undergo bone marrow transplant
View(s):Tasheena Dewmadi Badiwattage, four years, had been diagnosed with transfusion dependent thalassaemia and is currently following supportive treatments at Asiri Central Hospital, Colombo.
To save her life, she needs to undergo a bone marrow transplant as recommended by Consultant Haematologist Dr. Lallindra Gooneratne.
The cost of the procedure including provisions of donor cells from overseas would be Rs. 8,000,000. Her parents have received some money after the appeal appeared in Lankadeepa on June 11, 2018.
They require another Rs.1,000,000 to proceed with Tasheena’s transfusion.
As her parents are unable to afford the amount due to financial difficulties, they seek assistance from generous donors to save their little daughter’s life.
