A teleplay with a difference
Pradeep Dharmadasa who has directed number of teledramas that were different to usual soap-operas, released his latest teleplay ‘Thriloka’ on ITN. The 14-episode teledrama is now being screened at 7.30 pm on every Saturday.
Kalana Gunasekara, ‘Koombiya’ famed actor plays the title role while other roles are play by Dayadewa Edirisinghe, Wasanthi Ranwala, Sriyantha Mendis, Dasun Pathirana, Poojana Dandeniya, Umayangana Wickremsinghe, Koralage Saman, Niranjani Shanmugaraja, Ananda Kumara, Mayura Kanchana, Harindu Rangajith, Sarath Karunaratne, Jehan Appuhamy, Kasuni Kavindi and few others.
Pradeep earlier directed ‘Samanalunta Wedithiyanna’ and ‘Ehipillama Yata’ which were different from stereotyped teledramas. His last teleplay was ‘Deiyange Rate’.
The script of ‘Thriloka’ is written by Chalaka Ranasuriya and Nilantha Perera while camera by Chinthaka Somakeerhti and Ajantha Alahakone is the art director.
