NCC and CCC share honours at 13th MCA Inter Academy Junior League Tournament
View(s):The two neighboring Cricket Academies, NCC and CCC shared the honours at the 13th MCA Inter Academy Junior 30-Over League Tournaments 2018, concluded on Poya Day, December 22, at the MCA Grounds. In the U-13 final played in the morning, CCC scored a comfortable eight-wicket win over MCA ‘Blue’ and in the U-15 final that followed NCC scored a convincing four-wicket win over Hemantha Ranasinghe CA.
Awards were presented by Chief Guest Chris Obeyesekera (former MCA President and the inaugurator of the MCA Cricket Academy in 2002, Mahesh de Alwis, MCA/General Secretary and Chairman, Cricket Development Committee, MCA Cricket Academy Staff; Shashika Maduranga Junior Coach, Shashikala Siriwardena, Girls Coach, Santhush Gunatillake, former MCA Academy Student and SL U-19 player, Chaminda Jayasinghe , Snr.
