Convent of the Child Jesus National School, Ratnapura gets bus
View(s):The Past Pupils Association (PPA) and School Development Committee (SDC) of Convent of the Child Jesus National School, Ratnapura donated a bus to their school, fulfilling a long felt need of the students.
The key of the bus was handed over to the Principal, Sandya Priyadarshani by the President, SDC, Thanuja Dilrukshi ceremonially on January 3. Ms Dilrukshi said: “This was a result of the collective efforts of many people. We remember with gratitude former Principal, the late Subadra Pushpalatha, who pioneered this campaign.”
The Principal and President, PPA expressed their thanks to the manager and engineers at the Sri Lanka Transport Board at Ratmalana who produced the certifying report of the vehicle and the Asst. Principal who co-ordinated the project. -Pic by Apsara Wijesuriya
