Godapitiya National School takes the road
View(s):The walk organized by Godapitiya National School, will be held on the 27th of January 2019. The walk will commence from Akuressa Nilwala Panadugama Grounds towards the school premises.
Since the inception, Godapitiya National School has been an institute for the underprivileged students in the area, helping them to build up a better future. Throughout the years the school has evolved its ways for the betterment, serving its purpose. Organized by the Past Pupils Association of Godapitiya National School, this school walk is one such attempt to support the students from low-income families. This is a fundraising event where all the profits will be donated to build a fund to grant scholarships for these students.
The organizing committee kindly invites all the past pupils and the student body to contribute to this event by their participation on the 27th January.
Printed media sponsorship is given by Education Times of The Sunday Times and Hiru TV Top light is the main electronic media sponsor to the event. Shanika Printing and Textiles Pvt Ltd is sponsoring school T- shirts for this event.
