On January 16, Juliet Coombe launched her second book titled ‘Donald Trunk and the Curse of Crabzilla’ at the Jetwing Lighthouse Hotel in Galle. The eight-part series follows the adventures of young tusker Donald who has set off on another adventure to find a mythical elephant graveyard treasure.

The launch had children having fun dancing around with elephants, gorillas, butterflies and penguins. A craft session had the children making their very own Donald Trunk with clay, paint and paper. The first prize winner had the chance of walking away with their very own Donald Trunk book. The children even learnt how to carve animals out of fruits and vegetables from the talented Jetwing chefs. The launch kicked off the opening day of the Fairway Galle Literary Festival 2019 with an afternoon of laughter, messy art and a life-sized cake detailing the adventures of Donald Trunk and Crabzilla that had the children enthralled.
