The De Lanerolles’ first of ten concerts, tomorrow
2019 marks a decade since brothers Rohan and Ishan De Lanerolle performed their first concert together as the De Lanerolle Brothers at Waters Edge captivating audiences with their voices. Within this time they have gone from being a local favourite to taking their brand overseas.

Remembering a long time friend, Director Vinodh Senadeera who passed away suddenly last week, Rohan shared with the audience a quote that he stumbled upon on Vinodh’s facebook page. He thought it apt to describe their ten years of music after changing a few words. ‘What matters is not what we bought, but what we built; not what we got, but what we have given to society; not our success, but our significance. Not what we learnt but what we taught people. What will matter is what we were to society; our integrity, our sacrifices that empowered or encouraged others to emulate us.’
