Australasian Academy of Hospitality the only Australian Owned specialized higher education institution in Sri Lanka had their Orientation for the 2019 January batch of students at the AAH premises on the 28th and 29th of January 2019

James William Christie the Principal opened the forum with an introduction to Hospitality Management Education, Industry growth and about the Evolution Hospitality Institute Australia and their programme delivered at AAH.

Students from many leading Schools in Colombo and Kandy have joined the Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management, which is the only Australian Hospitality Management programme delivered in Sri Lanka with Local and International paid internships.

Keeping its promise of providing wealth of knowledge, skills development and knowledge sharing for the undergraduates AAH invited the Director of Human Resources at Marriott Hotels Sri Lanka Mr. Harsha Subashana to deliver the key note address.  Mr. Subashana shared his wealth of experience with the newly joined group of students on the Hospitality and Tourism industry, future developments and career opportunities within Sri Lanka and overseas.

I was fascinated by the enthusiasm of the young group of students who have joined AAH for the January intake and I am glad to see a committed bunch of individuals managing the AAH with a passion to help develop the Hospitality and Tourism industry in the country by producing learned and skilled hospitality professionals” stated Mr. Harsha Subashana.  He further stated that the infrastructure with state of the arts training rooms are something that the students will enjoy and lucky to have right here in Sri Lanka.
