Rajapaksa hits 268 in 173 balls
Bhanuka Rajapaksa smashed a magnificent double century for Burgher Recreation Club against Sri Lanka Ports Authority Cricket Club in their plate championship game at Moors Sports Club Grounds yesterday.
He scored 268 runs in just 173 balls and hit 22 boundaries and 19 sixes as they put on a massive 629 runs for their first innings.
Meanwhile, Ragama CC took a first innings lead over Baduraliya SC thanks to their wicket keeper Sameera Zoysa who made 150 runs. His innings which came off in 230 balls had 16 boundaries and 6 sixes.
Ragama made 389 in their first innings as Alankakara Silva took 6 wickets for Badureliya Sports Club. Badureliya were 4 for no wickets at the end of day 2.
