Carter House with 252 points emerge champions
View(s):Carter House with 252 points emerged champions at the School for the Deaf, Ratmalana inter house sports meet held at the school’s grounds Ratmalana recently. Misken House finshed second with a close 250 points while Gibbon House occupied the third position with 205 points.
Sashika Prasad and Udari Sandunika both of Miskin House were the individual champions in the Under 18 Boys and Girls categories.
The meet was held under the guidance of Samanthika Jayasuriya, the Principal and Senior Assistant Laksiri Weerasinghe.
Drill display, school band and the march past by the students of the school added colour to the event which was witnessed by a large number of spectators including present students, past students and partents along with well wishers.
The occasion was graced with the presence of Lion Deva D. Peter, District Governor 306/B1 (Chief Guest) and the Guest of Honour Thilanka De Zoysa, Shivantha Vivekanandan, President Deaf School Past Pupils Association, Ratmalana.

Under 12 Boys: R. Keveesha (Miskin House), Under 12 Girls: Achani Nilakshika (Miskin House)
Under 14 Boys: C. Malisha (Gibbon House); Under 14 Girls: Sadeepani Dilhara (Carter House)
Under 16 Boys: D. Dilshan (Miskin House); Under 16 Girls: Uchini Sitthara (Carter House)
Under 18 Boys: Sashika Prasad (Miskin House); Under 18 Girls: Udari Sandunika (Miskin House)
