The English Writers Collective of Sri Lanka (EWC) invites short stories of 1500 words or less and poems of less than 30 lines for the 2019 Creative Writing Competition. The best three entries will be awarded prizes.

These and other selected entries will be published in the EWC

journal Channels. Readers are also invited to send articles of 1500 words or less for publication in Channels.

All entries should be e-mailed to laskf@att.net. A typed copy of each entry should also be sent by Registered Post to Lancelot Fernando, 178, Polhengoda Road,

Colombo 5. The deadline for all entries is March 31,2019.
