Naleemiah Nidhahas Trophy 2019
View(s):To mark the 71st Independence Day Celebration, Nidhahas Trophy 2019 was organised by the Beruwela Naleemiah Institute of Islamic Studies Batch of 2019 was held at Jamiah Naleemiah grounds from February 1 to 6.
A total of 10 teams participated and the final match between 4th Year student and 2019 7th Year (NIIS) batch was played. The 4th Year Batch team scored 62 runs and in reply 7th Year batch scored 80 runs and won by 18 runs.
The Man-of-the-Series award was secured by Najath Naseer who claimed five wickets and scored 136 runs. Mohamed Arshad, who hit 37 runs in just seven balls in the final was picked as the Man-of-the-Match. Janos Ameer picked 12 wickets, the most number of the tournament.
