Ravi Jayawardhana re-appointed VTA Chairman
View(s):Attorney-at-Law Ravi Jayawardhana has been reappointed as the Chairman of the Vocational Training Authority of Sri Lanka (VTA). He assumed duties on February 20, 2019. He received the appointment letter from the Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe. Deputy Minister of Skills Development and Vocational Training Karunarathna Paranawithana was also present when Jayawardana assumed duties.
Ravi Jayawardhana Previously worked at Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation as the chairman. During this brief ceremony, Jayawardhana stated that Vocational Training & Skills Development is the foundation for development of Sri Lanka and his Vision for VTA is to improve the quality of the Vocational training & employability of the youth.
