Top 500 international ranking affiliated universities to be registered
View(s):A system of registering private local universities affiliated with foreign universities within the top 500 international rankings, is to be developed.
The decision was approved by the cabinet this week.
A cabinet paper submitted said although the standards of such private universities are monitored by the affiliated universities, their suitability to conduct such programmes locally is not monitored or inspected and the registration of such universities will be useful to the students.
