ComBank fetes Dilip Das Gupta for exemplary service to Dhaka operations

The Commercial Bank of Ceylon recently felicitated Dilip Das Gupta, Senior General Manager of the bank’s Bangladesh operations, in appreciation of his services. An eminent banking professional of high standing in Bangladesh, Mr. Das Gupta is widely-recognised for his contributions to the development of the industry and has more than 50 years of experience in the Banking industry. In 2003 he was made a Knight of the National Order of Merit, France’s highest civilian honour, for his outstanding contributions in the field of international banking.
Commercial Bank of Ceylon entered Bangladesh in July 2003 with the acquisition of the Bangladesh operations of Credit Agricole Indosuez (CAI), its first ever acquisition of a banking operation.
